Bishop Michael A. Badger was consecrated as a Bishop in 2008 and has been the Senior Pastor of Bethesda World Harvest International Church since 1990. He previously served for seven years at an international television ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was responsible for overseeing the Department of Guest Relations.

As the Senior Pastor of Bethesda World Harvest International Church, Bishop Badger shepherds a multicultural congregation and oversees a multifaceted staff of employees and volunteers. Under his leadership, Bethesda has completed a 3.5 million dollar church renovation to facilitate additional ministry to Bethesda, Buffalo, and the Body of Christ. He oversees New Life World Harvest Restoration Center and New Generation Ministries in Buffalo, NY, Zion Hill World Harvest B.C. in Syracuse, NY, and Glorious Church International in Lakeland, FL.

Bishop Badger is the founder and chairperson of Bethesda CDC, the President of Destiny Enterprise, the founder and chairperson of the Sarah Minnie Badger Foster Care Agency, the secretary of the Board of Directors for Erie County Medical Center and the treasurer of The Jeremiah Partnership.

Bishop Badger recognizes his call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and live by example to impact and empower Bethesda, Buffalo, NY, and many nations in the world. He travels annually to the Ivory Coast, South Africa, with a team to minister, conduct pastoral conferences, and take needed supplies. He was instrumental in the establishment of several churches, medical facilities, and orphanages in the Ivory Coast. Bishop Badger has sponsored Missions trips to Zaire and Ghana and has ministered in Singapore, Malaysia, and Togo.

He and his wife Lady Joyce Badger have been married 36 years and live in Lancaster, New York. They are the proud parents of their two sons; ArMonde (Elizabeth) Badger and DeMario (Nia) Badger, who are active in ministry at Bethesda, and a daughter; Tara Fulgham (Rodney). Among their three children they have eight grandchildren.
